ATTENTION! KEEP OUR TUITION LOW!

PITT Day in Harrisburg is the largest lobby day of the University of Pittsburgh and gives students, faculty, administration, and alumni the opportunity to discuss their PITT experience as well as important issues relating to the University of Pittsburgh, with the members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. As PITT is a state-related institution, and receives appropriations from the Commonwealth, it is extremely important that PITT’s voice is heard in Harrisburg so that PITT gets the funding it deserves. Meetings with legislator occur in small groups (usually 3 to 5 people) throughout the day and there are also a variety of displays as well as a reception in the Capitol Rotunda. PITT Day in Harrisburg is open to any PITT student that wishes to go.

Student Government Board and the University of Pittsburgh will provide transportation to and from Harrisburg as well as food for the day. Students will also be provided with letters for their professors documenting that they were at PITT Day in Harrisburg.

PITT Day in Harrisburg is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable lobbying and networking experience while at the same time helping YOUR school, YOUR peers, and YOURSELF. We hope you can join us in Harrisburg on March 13th.

Hail to PITT!
